The Chinotto plant in a 20 cm pot, approximately 1.5 – 2 years old from grafting and about 80 cm tall including the pot, is compact and well-structured, ideal for pot cultivation on balconies, terraces, or in the garden. Chinotto is a slow-growing plant that can eventually reach up to about 3 meters in height, developing a dense canopy composed of small, shiny, dark green leaves. In spring, it produces elegant white scented flowers, which enhance the plant's ornamental value. Chinotto fruits are round and similar in size to mandarins, but they stand out for their intense and persistent aroma. They can remain on the plant for a long time while maintaining their characteristics. Thanks to their high aromaticity, the fruits are particularly sought after for the production of candied fruit, liqueurs, syrups, and traditional beverages.
